Adafruit Boarduino is similar to Arduino Nano only in one that it can be fixed on a breadboard. It is a simple DIY kit with only through hole components. Simply solder the components and fix it on a breadboard. It was released before Arduino Nano because Arduino enthusiasts were looking for an Arduino that could be fixed on a breadboard and programmed.
