The Big LazyBone Bluetooth dimmer is a smartphone dimmer that has integrated Bluetooth 4.0 and a microcontroller.
It supports both Android and iOS. So, you can use your iPhone or Android phone to control this Big LazyBone dimmer.
Connect your lamp to it, you can dim the light using your Android/iOS smartphone or a computer.
It is compatible with AC 100-240V 50/60Hz which makes it usable worldwide.
After you connect this Lazybone device to your smartphone, you will see a virtual knob on the app user interface. Rotating the virtual knob will change voltage at the dimmer ports. Dimming of light will also appear as the voltage level changes.
Compared to the previous LazyBone dimmer, the Big LazyBone offers a number of improvements. It can be set as a leading or trailing edge dimmer. It can work with incandescent bulb, LED blub (must be a dimmable one) or AC motor. It also has a real knob that can dim the light/motor speed manually.
Note: For LED Bulb dimming, please set to Trailing edge mode.
Note: Because of the AC waveform change, the AC motor will have some noise output when you use this dimmer.
Software Installation:
It has 2 basic versions: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and this is the Bluetooth LazyBone dimmer.  We provide a free Android/iOS App for you to control it. You can control multi Lazybones via one App.
How to use the software:
1. Open the app, if Bluetooth of your phone is inactive, it will prompt a message to activate it.
2. Click the Menu and then ‘Connect device’. Phone will detect the Bluetooth device automatically and input the PIN number: ‘1234’ (it will auto connect next time). When you connect your lamp for the first time, you can assign a name for it, for example: Room, Home, etc.
3. Now you can control the lamp turning it on/off by pressing the on/off button on the left corner and adjusting the light by rotating the knob.
Wiring Diagramïĵ
You can power the big Lazybone dimmer with AC 110-240V power directly. You can leave GND port open. But we suggest you to connect it if possible.
