A Practical Digital Scoreboard for Community Cricket
A digital cricket scoreboard does not have to be enormous, permanently installed or complicated to operate.
Our 32 × 64 cm four-display cricket scoreboard is designed as a practical option for community clubs, junior cricket, schools and local competitions.
The scoreboard contains four individual 32 × 16 cm outdoor P10 LED displays showing the four important match values: Runs, Wickets, Overs and Target.
Using separate displays means spectators do not have to wait for information to rotate onto the screen.
Different Colours Make the Score Easy to Understand
The four displays use different colours: red, green, yellow and white.
This makes it easier to distinguish different information from a distance.
The Target display can also be switched off during the first innings when a target is not required.
Remote-Controlled Cricket Scoreboard
The scoreboard can be operated using a dedicated long-range remote control.
The remote has an open-field range of up to approximately 500 metres, making it possible for the scorer to operate the scoreboard without standing beside it.
Actual range can vary depending on obstacles and the operating environment.
Control the Scoreboard From a Phone
A second control option is provided through a browser-based interface.
Connect your phone to the scoreboard’s Wi-Fi network, open the control interface in a web browser and update the score.
There is therefore no need to physically access the scoreboard every time the score changes.
Portable and Lightweight
The complete scoreboard weighs approximately 3 kg.
This makes it particularly useful for clubs that need to transport their scoreboard between grounds or store it after matches.
A PETG 3D-printed enclosure is included to hold the displays and electronics securely.
The enclosure is ventilated and is not waterproof, so the scoreboard must be protected from rain and moisture.
