About Scoreduino App

What is Scoreduino ?

Scoreduino is a combination of Arduino based controller and Android App designed to operate up/down counters and scoreboards

Scoreduino is an Arduino based programmable controller/device/platform dedicated to building and operating 74LS192 based scoreboards and up & down counters. It is slightly different from the regular Arduino board. It has been modified to make the Arduino compatible with 74LS192. Scoreduino based scoreboards and up & down counters can be controlled with the Scoreduino app.

About Scoreduino app

A platform to control up & down counter and Scoreboards

Scoreduino app is an Android-based app for controlling Scoreduino counters and scoreboards. The app has altogether 7 modules for different scoreboards and up & down counters.

The apps have been named as SCORE1, SCORE2, SCORE3, SCORE4, SCORE5, and SCORE6. There is one more app titled CD4029 which can be used for CD4029 based up and down counter.

The app sends up and down control signals as well as specific numbers to the Scoreduino devices.

Scoreduino apps communicate with Scoreduino devices via Bluetooth. It has been built using MIT media lab’s App Inventor For Android.

The app is FREE and it has been released under a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0 license.

SCORE1

SCORE1 is an app for controlling one to unlimited number of large seven segment displays connected together.

SCORE1 is an app for controlling one to unlimited number of seven-segment displays connected together. It is basically a controller that sends up and down counter signals to the seven segments display driver. You can send a specific number/value to the seven segment display and also count the number up and down.

The size of the seven-segment displays can be 1.2 inches to 5 inches big. SCORE1 sends control commands to the SCOREDUINO-A board via Bluetooth.

This app is suitable for testing a 1.2″ to 5″ common anode seven segment display.
